Embark on a captivating role-playing adventure in the vibrant Kalos region with Pokémon X. As a young Pokémon Trainer who has recently moved to Vaniville Town, your journey begins with the choice of a starter Pokémon: the Grass-type Chespin, the Fire-type Fennekin, or the Water-type Froakie, gifted to you by Tierno. This installment marks a significant leap for the main Pokémon series, being the first to feature fully 3D polygonal graphics, enhancing both the exploration of the overworld and the dynamic action of battles.
Your quest is to catch and train a diverse array of Pokémon, engaging in turn-based battles against other trainers. Victory in these encounters earns your Pokémon valuable experience points, leading to level-ups that boost their battle statistics, allow them to learn new and powerful moves, and sometimes trigger evolution into even stronger forms.
