About The Game
Spider-Man: Edge of Time is an action-adventure video game developed by Beenox and published by Activision. It is based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man, and is a sequel to the 2010 game Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. The game follows two different versions of Spider-Man, one from the present day and one from 2099, as they work together to prevent a catastrophic future caused by the villainous Walker Sloan. Players take control of both Spider-Men as they travel through time, using their unique abilities to battle enemies and solve puzzles. The present day Spider-Man has access to his classic web slinging abilities as well as new combat moves such as Web Rush, which allows him to quickly move around the environment. The 2099 version of Spider-Man has access to futuristic gadgets such as an energy shield and a time dilation device that can slow down enemies. Both characters must work together in order to succeed in their mission, using their combined powers to defeat enemies and progress through the story. The game features a variety of levels set in locations from both timelines, including Stark Tower, Alchemax Laboratories, and other iconic Marvel locations. Players will also encounter a variety of villains from both timelines such as Doctor Octopus, Anti-Venom, Hobgoblin 2099, and more. As players progress through the story they will unlock new abilities for both versions of Spider-Man that can be used in combat or puzzle solving situations.
